If Jazz you must, then Jazz with class! The Jazz Pro is a result of years of work with seasoned touring and studio pros and your everyday “weekend warriors”. Great effort has been made to capture the “essence” of the Jazz tone in a modern design, without “copying” the bass and simply putting the Pavel name on it. Everything is done “in-house” with nothing but the best for the discriminating musician.

All Pro model basses come with features like, 22 frets plus a zero fret, 34” scale (35” optional) Rock Maple standard (optional figured Bird’s Eye or Flame Maple) necks with select Maple or Rosewood fingerboards. The body possesses a smaller upper horn area (for better higher fret access) and a custom pickguard (no pickguard on the Deluxe) with a choice of seasoned Ash or Alder tone woods for the body. These features help make this bass your 1st choice for any situation.

STANDARD SERIES:

-4, 5 and now 6 string option.
-34" scale Maple neck with a medium profile.
-22 + 0 small high-mass frets with shell dot inlays (MOP or Abalone)on Maple or Rosewood (Cocobolo, Ebony, BE Maple or Wenge optional).
-Presently with a 4 in line, 4+1 or 4+2 headstock with Hipshot Ultralight Clover Tuners.
-5 offset bolt-on design with ergonomically designed asymmetric heel.
-High mass Brass or Aircraft grade aluminum Hipshot “B” style bridge.
-Pavel/Reed single coil pickups in mathematically and tonally correct 60's or 70's jazz placement.
-Body choice of Alder or Ash.
-Pavel/East 2 band 18v preamp (mid optional), Aguilar "OBP-2" 18volts 2-band preamp. All with 100% blend output, push/pull Vol for passive switch (V, B, T, B or V, B, M, T/B)
-Premium Hardshell Case
